The next General Election for the City of Commerce will be Saturday, May 4, 2024. The offices of City Council Place Two (2), and City Council Place Four (4) will appear on the ballot. The deadline to file for a place on the ballot is 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023. Applications for a Place on the Ballot can be found here and in the Candidate Packet and must be filed with the City Secretary’s Office (in City Hall, 1119 Alamo Drive, Commerce, TX 75429). The filing period for the May 4, 2024 General Election is 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2024 through 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024.
